12-15-25   THOUGHTS

We have this morning four short verses that give us powerful summary!  God’s GRACE gives us a view of  “THE BLESSED HOPE”!  The other words give us behavior to make part of our living!  Christ gave himself for us to  “to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.”

Titus 2:11-14     For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,  12  instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, 13  looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,  14  who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

Our Prayer:
O Father, giver of grace and all blessings, Hallowed be Your name.  Help us to put away worldly lusts and live as You have taught us.  May the hope of Jesus appearing be ever our soul’s motivation.  Purify us continually, O God. And make us zealous children for what is good, and right.   In the name of our Savior,   Amen.
